welcome to night vale is a twice-monthly radio show from the little town of night vale, usa— a friendly desert community where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead while the citizens all pretend to sleep. it’s like the twilight zone meets podcasting meets npr meets a weird little radio station blaring out static and odd numbers. cecil, the radio announcer and “main character”, is also canonically queer, which is a cool thing you don’t tend to see in story podcasts.
